课程描述

• Communications

This course examines how online communication influences language, identity, and relationships. You will explore topics in social networking, public relations, and crisis management through the analysis of real-life case studies from politics, business, and entertainment. In a final project, you will participate in a formal panel discussion to present a synthesis of your research.

• Marketing

How do companies continue to succeed in the face of intense competition? In this course, you will begin by examining how some companies build and sustain consumer brand loyalty. Then, you will focus on gamification, a content marketing strategy that uses game elements to attract and engage consumers. You will improve your speaking and listening skills by participating in critical and analytical discussions as well as by creating and delivering a group presentation.

• Leadership

Through analysis of some of the world’s highest-performing CEOs and their leadership styles, you will learn strategies for communicating effectively with important influencers. You will explore organizational dynamics with a focus on how teams develop, learn, and achieve success together and the ways in which leaders emerge. You will present yourself as a leader in a final speech by incorporating effective verbal and non-verbal communication strategies.
